Abstract

PURPOSE: To substantially completely clean a fine sound groove by washing a record disc while being held on a cover.
CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic oscillator 5 is mounted in a table 2, on which a whshing bath 1 is placed, so that an oscillator 8 attached to the bottom of the washing bath 1 is excited to transmit the oscillations to a washing liquid by means of a diaphragm 7. A record disc 15 is held on a cover 10 between holders 13 and 14 so that it is washed by manually turning a handle 16. After the washing operation, the cover 10 is opened, and the record disc 10 is turned at a high speed by means of the handle 16 and a speed change gear mechanism 12 so that it may be subjected to centrifugal dehydration.
