AN ULTRASONIC CLEANING APPARATUS CLEANING TANK FOR STORING A CLEANING SOLUTION THEREIN, AND AN UNTRASONIC VIBRATOR DISPOSED IN THE CLEANING TANK FOR RADIATING AN ULTRASONIC ENERGY INTO THE CLEANING SOLUTION IN THE CLEANING TANK TO CLEAN A WORKPIECE IMMERSED IN THE CLEANING SOLUTION.THE CLEANING SOLUTION IS DEAERATED SUCH THAT THE AMOUNT OF OXYGEN DISSOLVED IN THE CLEANING SOLUTION RANGES FROM 0.01 TO 2 PPM. THE TEMPERATURE OF THE CLEANING SOLUTION IS IN THE RANGE FROM A SOLIDIFYING POINT THEREOF TO 30°C.
