Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize an extremely simple structure and the manufacture of a low cost for the capacitor microphone, by forming a plane of the semiconductor device with the metal plate which forms an end face of the capacity element in opposition to the conductive film and at the same time securing an electric contact between the metal plate and the gate electrode. CONSTITUTION:FET22 is fixed by being insulated from Al case 27 via insulator material 26, and metal film 23 of FET22 is used directly as the back electrode. In other words, electret film 24 forms a capacitor between coat 23 and film 24 and via spacer 25, and the input signal is supplied through the gate electrode of FET22 with an electric contact secured to coat 23. And thus the output is obtained through source and drain terminals 15 and 16 each in accordance with the input signal. Back room 21 formed at the center of FET22 functions to give the control to the sound quality properties and is formed with the knockout pin and at the molding time. In such way, the semiconductor device for electret capacitor microphone can be produced in an extremely simple way, at the same time realizing a miniature structure and a low cost.
