The formula is satisfied, where d 0 is the gap between the film 1 and plate 2, d e is the thickness of the plate 2, # 0 is the dielectric constant of the material of the gap and # e is the dielectric constant of the electret material. The film 1 is electrically conductive or has an electrically conductive surface confronting the plate 2.
