Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the productivity of a time standard generating system and provide wide and flat temperature characteristics thereof by employing two crystal resonators having equal peak temperature and frequency vs. temperature characteristics including different secondary temperature coefficients to generate time standard signal.
CONSTITUTION: By employing a crystal resonator having torsion oscillation mode for a resonator 7 and a crystal resonator having bending oscillation mode for a resonator 8, two resonators 7, 8 have frequency vs. temperature characteristics including different temperature coefficients and equal peak temperature. The difference Δf between the oscillation frequencies f1 and f2 of oscillator circuits 7a and 8a, respectively is obtained by a beat circuit 9, and a correction coefficient K is multiplied further by a correction signal forming circuit 10 to raise or lower the pulse by a pulse control circuit 11 so as to form a signal of f1+K(Δf) in order to obtain a standard signal having flat temperature characteristics.
