Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide temperature compensation of high accuracy by making use of two piezo oscillation elements which have highest temperature points subtantially equal to each other and secondary temperature coefficients different from each other.
CONSTITUTION: Oscillators 10 and 20 have crystal oscillation elements 14 and 24 respectly connected thereto, and one element 24 has secondary temperature coefficient greater than that of element 14. Outputs of oscillators 10 and 20 are respectively discriminated by frequency discriminator 17 and 27, and difference therebetween determined by detector 30 is discriminated by frequency discriminator 40 and added to output of frequency discriminator 17 by pulse adding circuitry 50 in order to effect temperature compensation for oscillator 10 and to advance time display mechanism 80 of electronic clock.
