Abstract

PURPOSE: To establish the sinusoidal wave oscillator effectively suppressing the unnecessary oscillation mode, by phase-shifting in 180° only at the specified frequency for the feedback signal of the feedback path of the transmitter.
CONSTITUTION: The feedback path consisting of the resonator 12, e.g., crystal oscillator and frequency fine adjustment capacitor 68, as the reactance element is connected between the input and output of the inversion amplifier 10. The shunt reactance elements 14, 16 consisting of parallel and series tank circuit are connected between the common line 18 and both the ends of the feedback path. In the phase shift of 180° at the oscillation frequency of the feedback path, it is required that the reactance of the element 12 must be of opposite polarity as the reactance of the elements 14 and 16. Taking the resonant frequency of the elements 14, 16 as f1, f2, and f1<f2, the elements 14, 16 have the capacitive reactance in the frequency between f1 and f2. Further, the element 12 is adjusted in inductive reactance at the range of this frequency for oscillation.
