Abstract

PURPOSE: To output the stable DC voltage, by connecting the DC power supply to a single switching transistor via the choke coil, and the input winding of the ferro-resonance transformer to the switching transistor via the capacitor.
CONSTITUTION: The pulse generating circuit 2 produces the pulse DC output, drives the driving circuit 3 and drives the single switching transistor TR7 with the output of the circuit 3. TR7 is connected to the DC power supply 1 via the choke coil 12 and the input winding 9a of the ferro-resonance transformer 9 is connected in parallel with TR7 via the capacitor 14. The current flowing to the winding 9a does not contain DC components and forms the symmetrical full-waveform, and the resonance current flowing to the resonance winding 9b and the resonance capacitor 9c shows the AC waveform excited bidirectionally to produce the AC output stabled at the winding 9b. Further, this AC output is converted into DC voltage at the smoothing circuit 10, allowing to output the DC voltage stable.
