Abstract

PURPOSE: To attenuate the high frequency component at the input stage of a transformer, by varying the relationship between the resonant frequency of a resonant circuit and the driving frequency which drives switching elements, depending on the high and low states of the DC output voltage.
CONSTITUTION: The output of a rectifier 4 is switched by switching elements S1 and S2 which are driven by an oscillator 0 that generates a driving frequency. The output voltage is generated across an output capacitor 32 as a DC voltage via a resonant circuit comprising L and C. The output voltage is compared with a reference voltage 44'. Depending on the difference in voltages, is varied the driving frequency which is applied to the switching elements S1 and S2 from the oscillator 0 and to the resonant frequency of a resonant circuit; and the output voltage is stabilized to be constant. Since the impedance of the inductance L of said reaonant circuit is large, the high-frequency component at the input stage of the primary winding 20 of the transformer T is attenuated, and the flowing of said high frequency component into the earth line can be prevented.
