Abstract
PURPOSE: To promote a miniaturization and lightness in weight, by means of driving a transformer, that applies a switching regulator to produce outputs in a multiple way, with higher harmonics.
CONSTITUTION: An input power source 24 and a pulse width modulator 25, that controls pulse transformers 12, 13 for switching transistors 14, 15 at relatively stable output voltage of load power source, are provided. A choke transformer 16, having a secondary winding, is connected in series to the transistors 14, 15 in a main transformer 22, made in a half-bridged connection. And when the both transistors are in a state of off, an accumulated enerty, stored in primary inductance of the choke transormer, is made to be fed back to output side from a secondary winding of the choke trasformer through a diode 23. In such way, number of expensive switching elements can be reduced to decrease a nmber of times for switching operation, that causes an efficiency down, further with a use of one choke transformer being enough, still ferther with a specification of the choke transformer relatively simplified
