Abstract

PURPOSE:To control power supply to a high voltage load without causing influence onto other loads, by feeding power from high and low voltage sources in different switching modes. CONSTITUTION:A secondary winding 82 is a high voltage winding and connected with a rectifying/smoothing circuit comprising a diode D2 and a capacitor C2. Switching mode of the winding is brought into flyback mode by selecting the polarity of winding of a converter transformer T1 and the conduction polarity of the diode D2. In other word, voltage to be produced across the secondary winding 82 when a primary winding 81 is interrupted is fed through the diode D2 to a load. When control voltage V1 to be applied onto the base of a transistor Q3 is controlled through a sequence control circuit, high voltage output can be controlled.
