Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate a resistance value obtainable between the first and the second electrodes according to the electrode potential by changing bias potential according to the change in potential given to the first and the second electrodes. CONSTITUTION:An arrangement is such that a divided potential of a voltage obtainable between constant-potential wire 10 and electrode E2 is impressed to a bias electrode E3 by connecting resistances 13, 14 between the electrode E2 for a semiconductor resistance device U and the constant-potential wire 10 and then connecting the center node to the bias electrode E3. This way of arrangement is available for the bias potential applied to the electrode E3 to change according to a change in mean value of the potential given to the first and the second electrodes E1, E2 working as resistance terminals, therefore the resistance value between the first and the second electrodes E1, E2 can be kept constant regardless of a change in the potential given to these electrodes E1, E2.
