Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the assembly of cell as well as prevent the leakage of liquid by fitting a sealing plate into a loop insulating ring liquid-tightly by using a filler. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral edge of the sealing plate 2 to which the negative pole Li is closely attached through the current collector 3 is fitted into the loop insulating ring 9 through an adhesive filler coated on the groove 9-1, e.g., poly n-butene or polyisobutylene, to form a sealant. Into the liquid-tight container of the sealant, a combination of the separator 7' of hot-compressed polypropylene unwoven fabric and the impregnated marerial 8' of the same material as the separator, which is formed into a dish shape, is inserted and fixed. Then, a necessary amount of electrolyte is injected into it, and then the positive pole current collector 6 is spot- welded, the case 1 containing positive pole combined agent and electrolyte is covered on the aforesaid sealant, the positive pole current collector 6 is pressed in the positive pole combined agent 5, and then the upper part of the case 1 is folded inward through the loop ring 9 and sealed.
