Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid an influence of disturbance and thus to improve measuring precision by measuring a delay time of a laser range finding system by means of an optical fiber with established length. CONSTITUTION:A laser is actuated through a pulse laser oscillator 1, and a laser pulse is transmitted to a receiving mirror 5 through an optical fiber 12. A light detector 7 detects the laser to actuate a counter 11, and a light detector 8 detects the laser pulse transmitted through the optical fiber 12 to stop the counter 11.
