Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise resistance to liquid leakage by forming a silane coupling agent film on the surface on which gasket is pressed and by interposing a liquid packing between the film and the gasket. CONSTITUTION:A film of a silane coupling agent, having hydrolyzed groups, e.g., halogen, acetoxyl group, etc., and reactive groups, e.g., vinyl group, epoxy group, etc., is formed on the surface on which gasket is pressed in anodic can and cathodic terminal plate, and then a liquid packing is interposed between the film and the gasket. Thus, it is possible to suppress an electro-chemical creeping phenomenon along the cathode terminal plate and thereby to raise greatly resistance to liquid leakage.
