Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the easy adjustment before measurement for the voltage measuring device utilizing the Josephson junction, by providing the bias current variable means to give adjustment to the intensity of the microwave as well as the set value of the bias current.
CONSTITUTION: Triangular wave generator 8 is provided to give the change to bias current I to be supplied to Josephson junction part JC in a certain current width and centering on bias current set value IS. In addition, oscilloscope 9 is provided to use standard voltage nVO supplied from part JC and the signal from generator 8 for the Y- and X-axis inputs each. In such constitution, the adjustment before measurement can be completed by flowing the bias current to part JC to produce the proper standard voltage and then giving adjustment to output voltage EO of variable DC voltage generator 5 to secure to zero output for DC amplifier 6. As a result, the various types of setting adjustment to be carried out before measurement can be done in the quicker and easier way then the conventional method.
