Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a measurement precision with obtaining the same Hall output voltage independently of the direction of a load input by connecting the core of a current-magnetic field field transducer to a zero potentinal.
CONSTITUTION: The Hall output voltage obtained from Hall element 31 is applied to operation circuit 34 dependent upon a differential amplifier circuit, and in-phase components are removed to amplify only the DC voltage indicating an effective power by a value corresponding to the power. After that, this Hall output voltage is sent to voltage-frequency transducer 80 and is converted to pulses, and the number of converted pulses is counted by a counter to obtain the product between the current and the voltage. Core 32b of current-magnetic field transducer 32 which is connected to Hall element 31 is connected to a zero potential to make the same Hall output voltage independently of the direction of load current IL, and load voltage VL is applied to Hall element 31 through high resistance 31a. Then, the saturation of the magnetic flux density of core 32a is prevented, and a control current circuit is used as a constant-power source to improve the precision of measured values.
