Abstract
PURPOSE: To load baglike loads at desired position in a ship's hold by pushing out the loads conveyed together with a pallet onto a slider externally projected and recovering the pallet alone.
CONSTITUTION: When a baglike loads 19 are lowered together with a pallet 18 via an elevator 21 and transferred onto a roller conveyor 28, an actuator 32 is extended to protrude the slider 31 to the position for loading and stop it. A pusher 22 connected to a roller chain 23 is moved along guide rails 26, the load 19 is pushed by the pusher 22 to be slid on the roller conveyor 28 toward the slider 31. Then, the pallet 18 makes contact with a stopper 30 to stop at, and only the load 19 is further pushed out, and transferred onto the slider 31 protruded externally of the port 27. When the pusher 22 is reversely returned to its original position, the slider 31 is accordingly retracted, and the pallet 18 is simultaneously discharged by the end 35.
