Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform the loading and unloading work to and from the rear body of a motor truck safely and effectively by such a construction that the subelevating table, interlocked with movement of the main elevating table, is elevated and sunk with a little larger stroke in both directions than the main elevating table while held in parallel with the main one.

CONSTITUTION: When the main elevating table 8 is in its undermost position, i.e. is grounding, the subelevating table 9 is also in its undermost position contacting the table 8. The wheel B of a hand truck A is introduced to the guide part of the table 8 so that the truck A will be positioned on the table 9. When the table 8 is elevated by stretching of cylinder 6, the table 9 will also rise to allow the wheel B to take position afloat over the above-mentioned guide part. Then, a detainer piece 20 of detainer part 18 will protrude over the table 9 and be detained at the edge of the truck A. The table 8 is, while the circumstances are held as above, elevated to the uppermost position and butted to the rear body 1. Subsequent pushing of the hand truck A will allow a roller 17 to roll while contacting the undersurface of the truck's A body, and the truck A will go onto the rear body 1 in the motion mode of horizontal transfer.
