PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of the transmission line and the terminal station, by transmitting the data signal and the clock signal including the frame synchronizing signal to one transmission line and the other respectively and by separating the clock signal and the frame synchronizing signal in the receiving side. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal provided with a pulse lack part or addition part correspondingly to the frame synchronizing signal is generated for the clock signal consisting of a continuous clock pulse train by synchronizing signal generating circuit 14 of transmission part 1, and the pulse lack part or addition part is detected from the synchronizing signal by synchronizing separating circuit 21 of receiving part 2 to separate and reproduce the clock signal and the frame synchronizing signal. In separation, the trigger input to a retriggerrable timer where the holding time is longer than one clock pulse period and is shorter than two clock pulse periods is used as the synchronizing signal, and the timer output is used as the frame synchronizing signal.
