Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the disturbance of the patterns of simple shape by other false image information and achieve the improvement in stereoscopic display effect by so constituting the device that each of the image information corresponding to one visual point is opposed to only one point of the object.
CONSTITUTION: The respective portions of the portions 17a, 17b,... of the target object are selected on the extensions of the line 19 connecting visual points 18a, 18b and the centers of the respective cylindrical lenses and the image information 20 opposing to the respective portions 17a, 17b,... of the target object is provided in the portions where these lines 19 and the back face of a lenticular plate 16 intersect.
