Abstract

PURPOSE: To promote supercharging at an inlet port of a pump for noticeably improving a pumping-up efficiency by increasing pressure at the connection of a fluid supply passage and a bypass channel over an atmospheric pressure by effective use of a kinetic energy included in a return current.
CONSTITUTION: As a rotation speed increases, a pump increases its displacement. Its excess fluid is fed to a bypass passage 38. Fluid in a fluid tank 50 and return current from a return pipe 46 are sucked down at the connection of a fluid supply passage 39 and the bypass passage 38, and supercharges the connection to increase a suction pressure of a pump. Another return current from a power steering equipment helps fluid in the fluid tank 50 to be sucked into the fluid supply passage 39, which is supercharged to a pressure over an atmospheric pressure. Under the supercharged state, a pumping-up efficiency can be encouraged farther.
