Abstract
PURPOSE:To satisfactorily discharge machining chips and liquid wastes and correctly perform the restoration of consumed parts of a machining electrode, by such means that when the machining electrode is under a work of restoration, the machining liquid between said electrode and an electrode for restoration is allowed to produce a flow of liquid. CONSTITUTION:To correct consumed parts of an electrode 14, the electrode 14 is moved along a restoration line P toward the side of a restoration device 16 to permit a restoring electrode 22 to perform the operation of cutting, surface repair, etc. for its worn and torn parts. At this time, the restoring electrode 22 is applied a slight amount of vibration by a vibrator 30, and this vibration cases the machining liquid to produce its flow in a machining gas between the electrode 14 and the restoring electrode 22, resulting in the promotion of discharge of machining waste liquid including machining chips in the machining gap. The promotion of this discharge operation can decrease a fault of abnormal machining due to the machining chips thus to obtain a machining face of good machining condition.
