CONSTITUTION:By moving the wire electrode 12 on the workpiece 24 along the arc C1, C1'' from the point P0, P0' to the point P1, P1', the arc discharge machining performed for the taper works. In this way, the discontinued part of the two slanted arc-shaped cut surfaces in the workpiece 24 is smoothly connected by the plane slanted cut surface. By moving the electrode 12 on the workpiece 24 along the cut surface and performing the discharge machining, the discharge cutting work can automatically be performed.
