Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a coil manufacturing equipment suitable for mss production of coils by a method wherein an upper and lower plates are piled up through a spacer, and specified quantity of pins are inserted on the outside circumferential edtes, then coils are wound around outside the pins using the gap between the upper and lower plates, when winding coils of a closed loop of annular type. CONSTITUTION:An upper plate 6 and a lower plate 7 are piled up through a spacer 8 of which thickness is equivalent to a thickness t of a coil 1 to be wound, and pins 11 planted on a pin holder 12 are inserted through into through holes 9 and 10 which are provided in an equal pitch along circumferential edges of the upper plate 6 and lower plate 7. A winding plate unit 14 is constituted as above. An end of a coil wire 1a is wound on pins 11 positioned between the upper plate 6 and lower plate 7, and the upper plate 6, lower plate 7 and pin holder 12 are rotated together to wind a coil by a specified length on the pins 11. After that, the pins 11 are taken out to separate the upper plate 6 from the lower plate 7, and an annular coil 1 produced is taken out.
