Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold securely a superconductive coil with a simple structure in superconductive coil winding by a method wherein side plates of bobbin to hold the superconductive coil are made separable to insert the coil in pressure. CONSTITUTION:A spool 16 consists of two bobbin parts 16a and 16b. In a process where a superconductive winding material is wound on the bobbin, a thin plate is inserted between parts 16a and 16b so that the height of the bobbin 16 is slightly higher than a specified height. Therefore, workability of winding is higher. After completion of winding, this thin plate is removed, and a bolt is tightened unitl the height of the spool 16 reaches the specified height. With this construction, the part 16a presses the superconductive coil 3 in the longitudinal so that the coil can be securely held.
