Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of soldering points, to facilitate an assembly or a maintenance of the ink jet recording device and to improve a reliability in operation for the device by a method wherein some leaf spring elements are contacted with electrodes arranged in an electrostrictive vibrator constituting a multinozzle head to provide an electrical connection therein. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical electrostrictive vibrator 6 has its one end connected to the nozzle 3 and the other end connected to an ink supply pipe 9 and also has the electrodes 7 and 8 at its outer circumference and inner surface. To the inner surface of the conductive bottom plate 1a is fixed via insulation plate 16 a spring plate 17 having leaf spring elements 17a made by a conductive spring material, and a lead wire 19 is soldered to one end of the spring plate. To the inner surface of the insulative cap 2 is also fixed a similar spring plate 18. Spring plate ends 17a and 18a correspond to the electrostrictive vibrator 6 and forcedly contacted by a spring force against the electrodes 7 arranged at an outer circumference of the electrostrictive vibrator. The electrode 8 is grounded at a chassie 1 via nozzle holder 4.
