Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily and surely remove film forming toners, prevent uneven development and achieve the improvement in image quality by heating the photoreceptor deposited with film forming toners and polishing the photoreceptor by a brush formed with the attracted powder on a rotator.
CONSTITUTION: This is constituted by a rotator 5 and heater 6. The rotator 5 consists of the rotary magnet which is pivotally supported in a box body 7 which is open on the side opposing to a photoreceptor 1. Magnetic powder 8 such as iron powder is put in the box 7 and part of the peripheral wall of the magnet 5 is buried therein. The other part of the peripheral surface retains a micro-clearance from the photoreceptor 1 and the iron powder 8 is magnetically attracted onto the surface of the magnet 5, whereby a magnetic brush 9 is formed. The heater 6 consists of a heating heater 10 which is disposed specially from the photoreceptor 1 and a reflecting plate 11 which is in proximate to this heater and of which the reflecting surface opposes to the photoreceptor 1. Thereby, the film forming toners may be removed evenly, readily and surely in an extremely short time and the sharp reproduced images obtained.
