Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide high-frequency power converters of various ratings, by manufacturing primary and secondary circuits including the primary and secondary windings of transformers, as separate units and by selectively and electromagnetically coupling the primary and secondary circuits with each other. CONSTITUTION:A primary winding 2 is provided around a bobbin 1 and fitted on a core 3 to complete the primary section of a transformer. The primary section is secured on a printed circuit board 4 by the terminals of the primary winding 2. Primary circuit parts 5 are then secured as a desired circuit construction to complete a primary unit 7. A primary casing 6 has an opening W1 in a portion to which the core 3 and the bobbin 1 are attached. The core 3 projects slightly from the casing. A secondary unit 14 is manufactured in the same manner. Such units are selected from the stockpile as occasion demands. The casings 6, 13 are so combined with each other that the cross sections of the cores 3, 10 are placed in contact with each other. The casings are secured on a mounting insulator plate 15 to perform completion. According to this constitution, the manufacture of high-frequency power converters of various ratings is facilitated and their inventory stock can be reduced.
