Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the periphery of thin plate glass in ample thickness and improve the reliability by arranging the glass on a faceplate on which a tripe filter is formed so that its bonding surface can be concave. CONSTITUTION:The liquid epoxy system adhesive 3 is dropped on a stripe filter 2 which is coated on a faceplate 1. A thin plate glass 19 overlaps so that the bonding surface can be concave and the adhesive 3 is solidified. In this case, the thickness of the adhesive 3 for the periphery of the faceplate 1 is made thinner than the center of the faceplate 1 by the centrifugal bonding method. Then, the upper surface of a thin glass 18 is abraded.
