Abstract

PURPOSE: To make large volume production of screens for projection by laminating and contacting a metal film, an ultraviolet curing resin solution and a substrate composed of an ultraviolet transmittable resin plate in this order on the surface of a corved mold, then radiating ultraviolet rays to allow the resin solution to set.
CONSTITUTION: A metal film (e.g., aluminum foil of about 10 to 30μ thick whose bottom side surface is made rough) 3 sandwiched at its circumference by holding frames 4a, 4b or the like is disposed above a curved mold 2. An ultraviolet curable resin solution 5 is coated on the top surface thereof and further a substrate 1 composed of an ultraviolet transmittable resin plate (e.g., acrylic resin plate of about 2 to 3 mm thick) having the specified curved face is placed thereon. These are then pressed downward to be contacted onto the mold 2. Next, ultraveiolet rays are radiated to the resin solution 5 through the substrate 1 by ultraviolet lamps 6a, 6b, 6c, etc. to allow the resin solution to polymerize and set and integrate the metal film 3 and substrate 1, and this yields the screen.
