Abstract

PURPOSE: To save thermal energy through effective utilization of heat stored in firing process by a method wherein a resin film coated with colored glaze is cut in pattern unit and scattered on the enamel surface of a bath immediately after firing so that the glaze is fired on the surface.
CONSTITUTION: Two or more types of resin films A1, A2... are coated with different color glaze and cut into desired pattern unit A10, A20.... These pattern pieces are mixed and scattered on the enamel surface C of the high temperature bath B immediately after firing, so that the glaze pattern is fired on the surface C of enamel. This eliminates the need for refiring after coating plaze which has been necessary in conventional method, and results in effective utilization of enamel firing heat. Furthermore, pattern firing is made on pore-free fired enamel surface C and thereby provides clear and beautiful pattern free from blurred pattern and outline.
