Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the malfunction which is caused by the noise and then increase the dv/dt amount, by connecting the photo transistor between the gate of the photothyristor and the cathode of the main thyristor and then giving the control to the phototransistor via the LED. CONSTITUTION:In case the ignition is given to main thyristor 100, LED132 has the light emission by the ignition command signal given from controller 120. With this photosignal, photothyristor 131 has the ignition, and accordingly thyristor 100 has the ignition. After this, phototransistor Tr133 is connected between the gate of thyristor 131 and the cathode of thyristor 100, and then the control is given to transistor 133 through control part 120 with photosignal S2 and via LED134. And the short circuit is given between the gate and the cathode of thyristor 131 only in the period during which the anode-cathode voltage of thyristor 100 holds the forward voltage. As a result, the malfunction caused by the noise can be avoided, thus increaing the dv/dt amount.
