Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent malfunctions of this relay unit by bypassing external noise, which is applied to no optical oscillation element, by a trigger current controlling transistor connected between the gate and the cathode of a reverse blocking triode thyristor. CONSTITUTION:Two-way triode thyristor 9 controls turning-on and off of AC load circuit 7 connected to the output terminal, and diode bridge 5 is connected between the gate and the anode of thyristor 9, and the output voltage is applied to reverse blocking triode thyristor 10. The base applied voltage of trigger current controlling transistor Tr11 connected between the gate and the cathode of thyristor 10 is obtained by the output voltage of bridge 5. Then, optical oscillation element 1 which is connected to luminous part 3 optically and has the gate opened is connected between the anode and the gate of thyristor 10, and luminous part 3 is controlled by input signals applied to terminals 21 and 22. As a result, Tr11 bypasses thyristor 10 even if a large external noise is applied to element 1, so that malfunctions of this relay unit can be prevented.
