PURPOSE: To realize the quick and optimum control of the dam gate by securing automation for decision of the target discharge amount and the gate operating procedure and thus ensuring the control for the dam gate, thus securing the safety for both the dam itself and the downstream areas.
CONSTITUTION: The opening degree is detected for gates 11aW11c via gate opening degree detectors 15aW15c each, and these detection results are given to arithmetic processor 18 as well as display unit 16 provided at the monitor center. Then the water levels of gates 11aW11c are detected by water gauge 17 and then given to unit 16 and processor 18. Thus the opening degree and water levels of gates 11aW 11c are always displayed at unit 16. Then processor 18 calculates and decides the target discharge amount based on the present dam opening degree, water level and target water level each which are supplied from detectors 15aW15c plus gauge 17 each when the target water level set via setting switch 19 is supplied and the gate control command is given by command switch 20.
