Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a fault immediately by monitoring the normalcy of a plant control system all the time by deciding and displaying whether the plant control system is normal by inputting and operating a set value signal and a signal to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:When a pressure setting signal (a) is inputted to the pressure control system 1 of a nuclear power plant, a pressure controller 2 generates a control signal (b) on the basis of the signal (a) to control a nuclear reactor system 3. As a result, the nuclear reactor system 3 generates a nuclear reactor pressure signal (c), as a signal to be controlled, which corresponds to the signal (a). At a monitoring device 4 for the control system, the signal (a) and signal (c) are inputted to an input part 5 for the setting signal and an input part 6 for the signal to be controlled to generate a setting input signal (d) and an input signal (e) to be controlled, which are both inputted to an arithmetic part 7. The arithmetic part 7 calculates the deviation between both the signals, etc., and outputs an arithmetic output (f) to a decision part 8. When the signal (f) is within a prescribed range, the decision part 8 decides the system as normal one and outputs a decision signal (h). Further, the signals (d), (d), (f), and (h) are displayed on a display part 9. When the dicision part 8 decides that the signal (f) is abnormal, warning is sent out and displayed on a display part 9.
