Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a main controller from uneffective stop by outputting an operation result processed by a dual system once to the external and inputting the output again to operation processing parts through a digital input part to drive a pulse generating circuit. CONSTITUTION:An output controller 8 conducts the dual output processing of operation results 15 and 16 outputted from operation processing parts 3 and 4 and outputs the processed result 17 to the external. The signal 17 outputted to the external is read again by an input part as a condition 18. The controller 8 finds AND between the condition 18 read in the processing parts 3 and 4 and the opeation results 15 and 16 previously outputted from the processing parts 3 and 4 and, when AND is formed, drives an interruping circuit 22. Thus, the controller 8 outputs the interrupting output 21 of a prior system to an external device 11 to be controlled at the normal time while conducting the fault diagnosis of the previously fixed operation parts through its backup system and, at the abnormal time, switches the interrupting output from the prior system to the backup one to operate the external device 11 to be controlled.
