Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent accidents such as explosion and improve safety by a method wherein the generation of a combustion signal is stopped by an interlocking circuit during the post-purge period.
CONSTITUTION: An interlocking circuit 18 is fed with a fan driving signal, an igniter driving signal and a pump driving signal. During the post-purge period, a fan driving signal is inputted, and the condition where neither an igniter driving signal nor a pump driving signal is outputted is detected, so that an interlock signal is outputted to a thermodetection circuit 11. With this interlock signal inputted to the thermodetection circuit 11, the temperature detecting function by a thermistor voltage outputted from a thermistor 12 is blocked so that the combustion signal is not outputted. With a power source switch SW1 turned off, the input terminal of the thermodetection circuit 11 is brought to the earth level, and the thermistor 12 is substantially short-circuited so that the thermistor voltage is not generated.
