Abstract
PURPOSE:To change the frequency division ratio of fundamental clocks to correct delay distortion of the dial signal dependent upon relay operations, by detecting connection and disconnection of the relay for signal output in case that fundametal clocks are frequency-divided to generate a prescribed dial signal. CONSTITUTION:Fundamental clocks are frequency-divided by dial signal generating circuit 3 to become a dial signal and turns on and off transistor Q1 to activate and inactivate relay R. By closing and opening contacts r1 and r2 of this relay R, the loop of telephone line L1 is connected and disconnected to transmit the dial signal, and simultaneously, this closed and open information is input to terminal IN4 of circuit 3. According to this input, circuit 3 decides whether the input value agrees with a prescribed value or not, and circuit 3 increases or reduces the frequency division value on the basis of the decision result to obtain a clock frequency division value where the input value agrees with the prescribed value. Then, this clock frequency division value is used after that.
