Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce current through the operation that no current flows at open input terminal in open and high states of input conditions and only current depending on a capacitor and a detected frequency flows even when setting said condition to a high state. CONSTITUTION:When a control signal 11 is at high (H) state and a signal 12 is at low (L) state at a period t3, the potential of a capacitor is at H. When the signal 11 is at L, signal 12 is at L, a signal 13 is at H and a clock signal 16 is at L at t4, a switch circuit 8 and a transistor (TR)10 turn off, the potential of the capacitor 9 is at H, and the output of a clock control type inverter 17 is at L. Even when an input terminal 6 is open at t5, the potential of the capacitor 9 is kept H, and a Q output of an FF19 is at L. The signal 11 is at L, signal 12 is at L, signal 13 is at H and the signal 16 is at L at t8, the inverter 17 is operative and the output is at H. When the signal 11 is at H, signals 12, 13 are at L and the signal 16 is at H, at t9, the Q output of the FF19 is at H. Thereafter, since the input terminal 6 is open, V9 approaches L.
