Abstract

PURPOSE: To deposit and separate Al part as a difficult soluble aluminum fluoride salt, such as Na3AlF6 etc., by adding one kind or more of caustic alkali or (acidic) alkali fluouide and HF solution to electrolytic polishing waste liquid of Al (alloy).
CONSTITUTION: One kind or more of caustic alkali, such as NaOH etc., or (acidic) alkali fluoride and HF solution, are added to electrolytic polishing waste liquid of Al (alloy) stirring about 30 minutes or more and reaction is carried out at 0W 70°C. Hereby, Al part is deposited and separated as difficult soluble compound, such as Na3AlF6, K3AlF6, Na5Al3F14 or K3Al2F6 etc. By the above method, fil- tering operation is easily carried out because deposited precipitate has a good filtering property and also, only a small amounts of H2SO4, H3PO4 and chromic acid in the waste liquid, are contained in the cake. Moreover, refined solution is circulated after concentrating to a suitable concentration for the electrolytic polishing.
