Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent combustion knock by effectively discharging only the pressure vibration caused at the flame base into the atmosphere in the mechanism wherein air passage having sucking effect to the direction of burner is installed in the vicinity of flame base. CONSTITUTION:Fan 3 starts its operation driven by motor 19, combustion air is sucked in thru air intake port 1 and is jetted out into the burner 13 at sleeve 10 thru blast pipe 5, tuyere nozzle 6, auxiliary airport 7' of the flame stabilizer 7, and hole 22. Here, air is mixed with fuel injected out from nozzle 20, ignited by ignition electrodes 21, 21', and starts combustion forming a flame with the front face of flame stabilizer 7 as its flame base. At the combustion, combustion knock, i.e. air pressure vibration is caused with a frequency having a base frequency equal to the revolving frequency of the fan 3, and with a vibration width where the essential resonance frequency of the burning apparatus resonates with the revolution frequency of the fan. However, in the above mentioned constitution, air pressure vibration is discharged into the atmosphere from the air intake port 1 thru the flame stabilizer 10 connecting to the burner 13, clearance 15 and the air passage inside the connecting pipe 16.
