Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the strength of waste material and make it possible to utilize said waste material as a civil engineering material or the like by a method wherein, in case of subjecting waste material to presurizing, molding and solidifying treatment, the squeezed out moisture during pressurizing is detected to change the pressurizing force snd solidified by densifying and molding under pressure to about zero void condition.
CONSTITUTION: The material obtained by kneading waste material, cement and water is thrown into a container 1 and, by handling a solenoid switch valve 5, pressurized oil is sent to a cylinder 3 to densify said material under pressure. When said material is pressed and approached to a zero void condition containing no air therein, the moisture within the material is squeezed out along with air. When a moisture detecting apparatus 7 detects the squeezed out moisture, a solenoid valve 5 becomes neutral and the supply of oil pressure to a cylinder 9 is stopped. Thereby, the material can be densified and molded under pressure almost to a zero void condition.
