Abstract

PURPOSE: To form dense, deep and fine etching holes on the whole substrate uniformly and to improve the exfoliation resisting property of coating on said substrate, by carrying out electrolytic treatment of Al material by using controlled direct current changing positive to negative periodically.
CONSTITUTION: Electrolytic treatment of Al material is carried out by using direct current having the positive current density of about 5W50A/dm2 and negative current density of about 1W20A/dm2 periodically changing within the range of about 0.1W120sec. The ratio of the positive and negative electric charge is selected within the range of about 1:1W10:1 corresponding to the quality of the Al material. By the above treatment, dense, deep and fine holes are formed extending over the whole substrate of the Al material and the surface of the substrate is roughened. Accordingly, exfoliation resisting property of coating is improved by its anchoring effect when the resin coating is formed on its surface.
