Abstract

PURPOSE: To form dense, deep, and fine etching holes on the whole substrate uniformly and to improve the exfoliation resisting property of coating formed on said substrate, by carrying out electrolytic treatment of Al material by using the combination of alternating and direct current by switching the alternating and direct current alternately.
CONSTITUTION: Alternating current having current density of about 1W20A/dm2 and direct current having current density of about 5W50A/dm2, are turned on switching alternately at the period of current trnasmission time of about 0.1W120 sec. and Al material is treated electrolytically. Ratio of the current density of the alternating and direct current and that of the current transmission time, are selected within the range of about 1:1W1:10 corresponding to the quality of the Al material. By the above treatment, dense, deep, and fine holes are formed extending over the whole substrate of the Al material and the surface of the substrate is roughened. Accordingly, exfoliation resisting property of coating is improved by its anchoring effect when the resin coating is formed on its surface.
