Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned cold-rolled steel plate capable of enhancing the safety of automobile and reduce the machine weight, by cold-rolling the steel of specified composition containing C, Mn, etc. in conventional method, and heating and soaking for a specified period of time at a temperature higher than AC1 point, and then continuously annealing as specified. CONSTITUTION:A steel containing C, 0.2% (% mark omitted below) or less; Mn, 0.5-2.5; Cr, 0.05-15 (1<Mn+Cr<3.5); and if necessary, one or more kinds of any of Si, 1 or less; Mo, 1 or less; Nb, 0.1 or less; V, 0.1 or less; or T, 0.1 or less is cold-rolled in an ordinary method, and heated and soaked for 5-300sec at a temperature higher than AC1 point. Then, the steel is quenched from the temperature of 400 deg.C or more, or preferably 400-600 deg.C, and is tempered for 5-300sec at a temperature of 300 deg.C or less. As a result, the captioned steel plate of which strength is 40kg/mm<2> and yield ratio is 60% or less, excelling in cold workability, applicable to automobile steel plate, and satisfying the safety, reduction of weight and dent resistance as well may be obtained.
