Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect a material from cracking and prevent the generation of noises and dusts, by providing a non-resonance-type vibrating mechanism for a vibratory conveyor for the mateial such as blocks, grains, powder or parts and vibrating a trough slowly forward but rapidly backward.
CONSTITUTION: A first and second unbalanced weights 7, 8 are rotated at a speed ratio of 1:2 in opposite directions by an electric motor M to perform periodical rotation shown by phases AWD in the drawing. The centrifugal forces F, f at each rotation phase act to the centers G, g of gravity in directions shown in the drawings. The resultant forces Q, P in directions X, Y of the centrifugal forces of the weights 7, 8 at an ordinary rotation phase E are represented as Q=-Fsinωt+fsin2ωt, P=-Fcosωt-fcos2ωt. Then, trough 1 would be vibrated by the forces P, Q. However, only the force Q is applied to the trough 1 because a vibrating mechanism 6 is vertically vibrated itself by leaf springs 34a, 34b.
