Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve the effective utilization of adsorbents and the reduction of pressure losses by providing the solid particle discharge ports for the upper and lower stream sides of the gas flow direction to beneath the downwardly moving solid particle beds and disposing the rolls of different numbers of revolutions below the respective discharge ports. CONSTITUTION:Solid particles are supplied from the arrow 6 to the moving beds 20 in the apparatus, where they make contact orshogonally with the gas led in from the arrow 7 and are discharged to the direction of the arrow 6' (the gas after the treatment is flowed out in the direction of the arrow 7'). Hoppers 22a and 22b are provided on the upper and lower stream sides in the gas flow direction below the moving beds 20 (if necessary, distributing bodies 25a, 25b are disposed). Curved taper walls 23a, 23b are provided at one of the respective bottom ends of the respective hoppers and in contact with these, the rolls 24a and 24b of the same diameter and different numbers of revolutions are disposed. In this case, the number of revolutions of the roll 24b is smaller.
