Abstract
PURPOSE:To sufficiently and safely absorb the thermal strain of a membrane, by providing corrugation units which have corrugations of slow waves on a flat plate and have trough inside. CONSTITUTION:Pairs of corrugations 12, 12 are laid on a flat plate 11 so that corrugation units 13 are provided in rows. The cross section of each corrugation 12 is shaped as slow waves 14. The continuous trough of each corrugation is located in contact with a cooling member 16. The corrugation units 13 have the troughes 15 inside and are in contact with the cooling member 16. In a cooled state, the wave- shaped cross sections of the corrugations 12 are slowly stretched although the flat plate 11 is contracted. As a result, stress concentration is prevented even if thermal expansion or contraction is caused.
