Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a heat insulating composite sheet with high heat insulating effect in a wide temperature area and flexibility, by a method wherein a flexible heat insulator is interposed between two sheets of synthetic resin films or sheets, consisting of polyparabanic acid film having a heat ray reflecting metallic thin film. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating composite sheet is constituted of a sandwich structure in the section thereof and a flexible heat insulator 3 is interposed between two sheets of synthetic resin films 1, having a heat ray reflecting metallic thin film 2 on the inside surface thereof. Generally, aluminum is employed to make the thin film 2. Expanded perlite, glass fibers, non-woven cloth or the like may be employed for the flexible heat insulator 3. The polyparabanic acid film, having heat resistant property, a low thermal conductivity and flexibility, is used, therefore, temperature keeping and low-temperature insulating effects are prominent and the flexibility as well as the heat insulating property may be provided at respective temperatures.
